On the afternoon of June 19, 2025, TOSUN and Nanjing University of Engineering officially held a strategic cooperation signing and "Fieldbus (Automotive Electronics) Joint Innovation Laboratory" opening ceremony. At the scene of the activity, the two sides completed a number of important agendas: signing of the donation agreement between the two sides and awarding of donation certificates, signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the School of Automation and TOSUN, listing of the Fieldbus (Automotive Electronics) Joint Innovation Laboratory, awarding of off-campus practice and education bases, and appointment of part-time faculty members in the School of Automation.
In the communication session after the ceremony, representatives from both sides had an in-depth discussion on topics such as technology research and development, curriculum construction, talent training and industry-academia cooperation. During this period, Dr. Xie Leyin, CTO of TOSUN, was appointed as a part-time instructor of the School of Automation of Nanjing University of Engineering, and gave a special lecture on the spot for the students, systematically introducing the function and application of TSMaster software, as well as the basic principles of automotive electronic and electrical architecture and automotive bus communication. This appointment marks a substantial step in the collaborative education between the university and the enterprise in the field of production, learning and research.
