The RCM112 is a high-performance, versatile Raptor Universal Control Module designed to support 12V and 24V EV monitoring, drive-by-wire autopilot, and advanced mechatronics applications. It is equipped with a 5-way CAN FD bus with Wake on CAN support, a 2-way LIN bus (LIN2 supports master-slave configuration with Wake-on-LIN), and 2-wire automotive-grade Ethernet and SENT communication interfaces.

The module has a wealth of input and output resources: 30 analog inputs (including 4-20mA inputs), 12 digital/frequency inputs (supporting 12V/24V battery level), 16 high-side and 16 low-side PWM drive outputs, 2 H-bridge drive outputs, 4 5V sensor power supply outputs, as well as a built-in 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and real-time clock (RTC).

It adopts a 200MHz ST SPC58NN84C3 multicore processor, supports ASIL-D functional safety rating, and is equipped with a safe power management chip. The module supports an open model-driven development flow based on MATLAB/Simulink and Raptor-Dev, simplifying algorithm development and application verification.

The module meets industrial grade IP69K protection, has a wide operating temperature range (-40°C to 85°C), and is housed in a rugged aluminum alloy case with a weight of approximately 0.72kg, making it suitable for long-term stable operation in harsh environments and vehicle applications.

CAN LIN Ethernet The logic battery input (BATT) of the RCM112 should always be connected to 8-32V battery voltage and grounded. This battery input is responsible for powering the microprocessor on wakeup and requires a separate fuse to prevent overcurrent in the logic power lines. The module has a main power relay drive output (MPRD) to control the main power switch and protect the load from damage caused by reversing the battery connection. The sensor power supply outputs support multiple 5V supplies with over-voltage, short-circuit and over-temperature protection. The internal power management chip supports a variety of wake-up conditions, including CAN, LIN, Ethernet and wake-up input signals, ensuring that the module responds flexibly to the system state, while realizing low-power hibernation and fast wake-up.

The RCM112 is a multifunctional control module for electric vehicles and high-end
The RCM112 is equipped with a total of 5 CAN FD buses. All 5 CAN buses support either standard ID or extended ID, of which CAN1 is used for module recovery.

The RCM112 does not internally terminate any CAN buses.

The RCM112 supports wake-up functionality via CAN5. It is recommended that CAN5 not be enabled unless five CAN buses are required. The CAN5 bus supports partial networking (specific message wake-up) that can trigger a wake-up event. In addition, the CAN5 transceiver will trigger a wake-up event when battery voltage is first received at the battery pin, but will return to the sleep state if no other signals are present to keep the RCM112 running. This initial wake-up behavior on power-up is inherent to the CAN transceiver.

The RCM112 is equipped with a total of 2 LIN buses, which can support LIN 2.0, LIN 2.1, LIN 2.2 and LIN 2.2A protocols. In the Raptor software, LIN2 supports master-slave configuration mode. According to the LIN standard, this bus is essentially a 12V system function, but the RCM112 can also be adapted for 24V system operation.

The RCM112 supports the LIN2 wake-up function. Any LIN2 bus signal can trigger a wake-up event. In addition, the LIN2 transceiver will automatically trigger a wake-up event when the module is connected to the power supply, and if there is no other signal to maintain the RCM112 running state, the module will automatically return to sleep state. This power-on first wake-up feature is inherent to the LIN transceiver.

The RCM112 utilizes an automotive-grade 100BASE-T1 two-wire Ethernet physical layer transceiver.

The module supports the Wake-on-Ethernet function. In addition, when the module receives battery power, the ETH transceiver triggers a wake-up event and automatically returns to the sleep state if no other signal is present to keep the RCM112 in the wake-up state. This first power-up wake-up behavior is an inherent feature of the ETH transceiver.

The RCM112 is equipped with 4 SENT buses. Analog input ports 16-19 are configured to support SENT 1-4.
